Exhibits & large format collage | Collage gran formato
Large-scale digital collage mounted as part of #m100, a collective exhibition of women celebrating 100 outstanding Mexican women, organised by the Galería Municipal Rosario Sánchez de Losada in Querétaro as part of the events to mark March 8th, International Womans Day. Antonieta Rivas Mercado was a cultural promoter, writer, patron of the arts, feminist, a committed woman who in 30 years of life, in the 1920s of a convulse country, promoted women's suffrage and travelled around Mexico in the presidential campaign of José Vasconcelos with her small feet but with a very firm footing. I want to see her and represent her properly, and make her legacy known. The photos of Antonieta Rivas Mercado are the property of the Fundación Rivas Mercado A.C. who generously supported this project.
